Mar. 14th, 2003 08:47 amYes, I am still alive.
Yes it has snowed again. And again. And again.
Where were we? Hmm. Well, I am still not back in therapy. I should, I need to get the HRT letters, but God, the stress of travelling there and the whole thing for really getting nothing in return other than jumping through hoops. Can't I just pay her the $660 and get the letters? *sigh*
Otoh I was with a group from work the other day and we were addressed by the waitress "Hi what can I get you ladies?" That was pleasant.
Everything else about work is unpleasant. I will be keeping my job in all likelihood. But many many people will not. And they know it. And it is going to be a long agonizing two months until we have the final confirmation and then a long long 4 months with everyone knowing exactly who's going to get laid off and just waiting for it to happen.
We're talking somewhere between 20-50% of the staff in a place that has doubled in size in the last ten years and hasn't added a single employee.
