May. 10th, 2006 10:02 amApparently people have figured out or been told that glassmaking will open up mining. That or it's an urban legend and Teppy is laughing like crazy watching us scurry around. So we were mining limestone. That's on a timer, you chip off some limestone, then you wait for your endurance to refresh. It's tedious. It gets better with food, but all we have is +2 cooked fish. While I was there we did a load of 500 and then I mined another 100 myself.
Not the most exciting part of the game :-)
I spent the rest of the evening growing cabbage and garlic. Since it's so early, nobody knows any of the special spots where you can get more than one cabbage which depends on where you are or the mystery of how to get more garlic which depends on weird random things like planted by a male and harvested by a female. So those come one by one. Again, not the most exciting. But I'm getting close. I just need another 40 garlic and I'll be done and can buy cooking.
We still haven't finished up the linen for obelisk construction. I'll probably work a bit on that tonight. And get some more grass. We managed to attract a female camel and we'd like a mate for her.
