There is entirely too little heat here today. It's apparently 9 and might hit 10. Rah. I hate the cold.

At least I have something warm on, got a really pretty rose textury sweater yesterday at Macy's. And even in my pretty self-critical opinion, I look good in it and good in general today.

I sort of lost my day off yesterday to the arctic. It snowed and I just really didn't feel like going out and shoveling, but it hung over us all day. In the end it wasn't too bad and we even got out to the mall. It felt... shortened though.

One bit on the mall trip was disappointing though. After not being impressed in beta at all, I finally gave in and decided to pick up World of Warcraft. Much to my surprise, ebgames showed the mall as having a copy. So I stopped by since I was going to be there anyway. And it sold yesterday before we got there. Oh well. I ordered it online. Still. Geez.

The weekend idiot box viewing was pretty heavy. The new Battlestar Galactica premiered, which I was unimpressed with despite enjoying the pilot. It just seemed to go nowhere.

The new Iron Chef America also premiered. That was the vidiot highlight of the weekend for sure. It was flay-boy, but what can you do. It's not perfect, but they're doing an awful lot of things right and it was really enjoyable viewing. I noticed on the commercials that Ming Tsai will be on. That should be interesting. I'm not super impressed with his show, but he does have a wide knowledge of styles and I think he'd do well. Hopefully, since he's up against The Evil One. For me though, I'm still wondering about the additional iron chef, Cat Cora, who's cooking for an Olivia Cruise. She'll apparently be introduced later in the season.

One of the things I definitely miss about the new show is the "theming" of the Iron Chefs. Right now, we could quite easily have Iron Chefs Italian, Southwest, and Asian. That would be a nice little combination. Add in IC Greek. One big plus is good riddance to that cheater Wolfgang "my sous chef made this" Puck. I've no idea what happened to him, but he annoyed me greatly in the battle of the masters. The commentary is still a little weak. There's a bit too much guessing and Alton Brown is simply not as knowledgeable as Dr. Hatori.

Oh well, I should wrap this. I need to go and replace a UPS across town. I'm really really not looking forward to going out in the cold though.

Well the Blizzard store was selling copies of WOW for about an hour this afternoon and I managed to order one. We'll see if it is real or the whole thing was just an error.

From everything I can see, this is the all time worst launch in MMPORPG history, so if nothing else, it should be good for giggles.
