Well I have a few new things to wear. Enough to get by and feel like I won't be rude to anyone. Your basic jean skirt (yawn... the first skirt of every transwoman I swear to Goddess) and a cute long linen black one. Both go with nearly everything I own which is good. One more would be nice.
Everyone's being understanding, but I'm being annoying and I know it and I can't help myself. I feel ludicrously silly. And after all this time, much to my surprise, I'm actually having some doubts. Not real ones. But sort of am I really ready for this? Could I ever change my mind? I'm sort of surprised at myself. I'd never had any doubts at all before this. In any case, even these few don't last long.
I'm starting to get a bit more on the excited than nervous side. I wish I had more time in Thailand. I really hope I can get out and at least see a little bit. 95 degrees is going to be a bit of a stunner.
For entertainment, I guess this week has been kind to me. Curve, Girlfriends, Bust, and Cooking Light all arrived. That should give me plenty for the plane. I also realized that I'd be passing through LHR and could grab the last Harry Potter book in the British version. That's probably good light reading. And magazines are always great. I'll probably buy a trashy fashion mag in the airport, Lucky or Marie Claire or something.
