Well, we did finally make it out to ptown yesterday despite our best efforts at procrastination. It was just wonderful. We caught the Portuguese parade. A lot of interesting folk dancing and things like that. Not sure why the bagpipers were there tho. Not exactly Portuguese!

After that we just did a lot of shopping. I didn't find anything that really spoke to me, though I could have spent a few hundred dollars on cheap jewelry. Just none of it was something I had to have. I am regretting not picking up a Goddess/woman pendant. They had some at womyncrafts and they were quite nice. Also a great selection of books, I could have avoided that whole order from Powells for my lesbian mysteries. It does make me nervous being in women only space though, but I'm sure that will pass.

What else, well we checked out the sex shop. And yes, liquid silk seems to be really nice. A bottle was also $20 and for the amount I use, it's just not feasable. I think I'll just end up ordering surgilube by the case. The whole sex shop thing was funny. This is the Toys of Eros shop, which is the bondage straight shop. As opposed to the women only toy store. We had this guy really really interested in selling us vibrators and telling us about everything. It was weird. I'm not sure if he was perving out on the lesbo thing or just looking for a commission. There is a bizarre humorous note to a guy trying to educate two lesbians on vibes though.

And then, of course, it was Lobster Pot time. Oh Goddess. Yum. We both got "clambakes" I made mine a baked stuffed rather than boiled lobster. Unbelievably good. (Clambake = add bread, salad, red potato, mussels, and corn). And afterwards we wandered around. Got some fried dough at the Portuguese bakery, along with some bread and some linguica croissants for todays lunch. And then got gelato at a little place. At that point I was just exhausted. Sometimes it's hard to remember it's only been a little over a month since surgery. So we headed home and had a drink together. Just a wonderful wonderful day.

Today's plan is to go shopping and do absolutely nothing else. Which is sort of good since it's about a thousand degrees on cape. OTOH it's about time we had some summer!
