I'm swapping emails with someone I havent' seen in literally 20 years. (OUCH! it really was that long ago.) Megan, a girl I went out with a few times in high school and was a huge influence on me.

Big surprise, she eventually came out of the closet and has a long term partner. I'm really glad for her. I had looked for her a few years back and when I found nothing googleable, rather worried that something unfortunate might have happened to her. But instead it sounds like most of what happened was positive.
