Storms and Stuffs

Well this is most likely going to be irritating. We're expecting Irene to hit on Cape sometime early Sunday morning. No real clue yet as to how strong it will be, but it's pretty definite it will be strong enough to cut our power. Just really a matter of how long. Our house survived Bob, including the skylight and sliding door, and it's unlikely this will be as strong. We're as far from the water as you can really get on cape. But fwiw, Bob cut power on Cape for 10 days. I'm hoping to find a computer UPS that I can use to keep the fish tank going and recharge the cell phone, so we won't be cut off.

Mostly, I'm very much not looking forward to sitting in the humidity listening to a wind up radio for a week, even if we have lots of good food, a grill, and a couple of big bottles of booze.
