Military Hypocrisy

This is hardly a surprise, but it turns out that there's even documentation confirming that while the military isn't fond of having gay people in its ranks during times of peace, it won't discharge them if they're on active combat duty. This is particularly interesting because the argument has always been that during times of combat, one has to sacrifice rights in favor of combat efficiency. But the actual policy is that times of combat are the one time that gays aren't removed from duty.
