kathygnomeWell I got my formal letter of acceptance and packet from BU yesterday.
You know what? I'm terrified. Not about whether or not I can handle the work, I do school work well and I'm old enough to realize that your grades will not follow you for the rest of your life. I'm sure I'll do fine in the program.
But the money and time thing. It's such a huge commitment. And the fact that I'll be making less money when I'm done than I do now. Probably far less money.
I also have issues with it being Boston University. I am the graduate of a public university and I believe very strongly in public education. In fact, I do not believe in private education. I would, in fact, take Bridgewater over BU any day of the week. The reasons to go to BU, a year earlier and the increased sanity of a 15 minute vs 75 minute commute, are simply too strong though.
I honestly felt faint.
Don't worry though, I'm sending in the deposit. :-)
