Well, I had a talk with the woman about the house and made sure she really understood that with some work she could get more for it, quite possibly a lot more. But she says she's happy with the prices we can afford, she'd rather not deal with the hassle of prepping it for sale. And I'm talking redo a kitchen, full paint, replace siding, stuff like that, so I can see her point. We don't have a final agreement, but it looks like it's going to happen. We're going over today to do some very serious measuring and figure out how we're going to utilize the space.
So our timeline right now looks like in the next couple of weeks get an inspection then purchase and sale with a provision on financing and selling our house and an attached leased to rent the place until we buy, move within the next month and clean and prep the old house for sale. Then when we sell the old one, close on the new house, and keep enough out to do full kitchen redo.
I'm terrified.
