Mar. 4th, 2005 09:44 amWell last night was nice. I made a nice dinner of spicy breaded chicken. Both of us were very tired and ended up propped up against each other napping.
Eventually we woke up and I got to play some WOW and talked with a friend for a while online.
I'm still waiting on my new credit cards which are definitely annoying me. Citi and mbna should have the documents they need to change things, but checking their web sites they still aren't changed. Amex and Discover were very very prompt and the web sites have my name correct, but I sitll don't have the cards in hand. And I'm waiting for the new cards in order to order my ticket for Bangkok. On that side, it looks like i'm going british air, the thinking being that one shorter layover and several hours shorter flight time is worth an ecnomy rather than business sized seat.
I engaged in a bit of retail therapy as well. I am definitely going to need a bag bigger than my 22 inch/stewardess bag if i'm spending 3 weeks in Thailand. So I ordered a set of larger luggage. It was cheap enough, but I resent it a bit because I will probably never need anything bigger than my 22 again. While I was at ebags, I bought a new Sak. I have a very plain base model in black, but I want something lighter in color for the summer. So I picked out this in brown (taupe), which has the lighter color I want and also has a cell phone pocket, which I've craved for a while. While I was there I ended up looking at wallets and ordering this one in the black with stripes. I like the look of what I have now, but it's trifold and I keep opening it upside down and having cards fall out. The Sak one is actually bifold even tho it says tri and has the card slots in the direction I want. It's a total waste of money, but that's what retail therapy is about. Some people do shoes, but with my 10W/11W feet, I do bags...
