Well, I finally gave in and just spent an absolutely obscene amount of money on Absinthe. We ran out perhaps two years ago and have missed having it around.

So, we have four bottles on the way. Deva which was the highlight of our last order, a nice herby absinthe. Pernod, the real original stuff from France. And two we don't really know much about La Cour and Montana, both of which are high in Thujone.

For those who aren't aware, if you are willing to pay a ludicrous amount for shipping, Absinthe is readily available through the internet.

Well, I got a chance to spend the weekend alone. It was just what I needed. I vegged in front of the computer. Played an obscene amount of City of Villains. Watched some movies on DVD. And ate complete crap.

It was perfect. And I feel so refreshed. Even walking into the possible disaster at work (we had more power outages friday and saturday), I'm doing pretty well. It's not like the holidays are over and I can still feel that sharp edge, but it is dulled a bit and as long as things aren't too stressful, I'm capable of playing nicely with the other children.

And thank you for everyone that wished me a happy birthday. I really don't celebrate it, but it's still appreciated!

He's bleeting on about the revelation that we're spying on Americans without warrants helping the enemy.

Hey George, everyone knows the methods we can use listen to people. We just assumed you were getting WARRANTS when you wanted to do that. The issue is WARRANTS. Everyone knows you can wire tap people. That's hardly some kind of revelation. Nothing in that article about how to listen in on people was a revelation. The only revelation was that you were doing so without a warrant.

But then it's clear that we're the enemy.
