Lets see.

Updating everything. Let's see. Frequent urination. Feeling I can't empty my bladder. Burning feeling while urinating. Feeling I'm not completely voiding. Cloudy off smelling urine. Yay! It's a bouncing baby UTI or at least all the signs point that way. I have an open prescription for minocycline, so I looked up the dosage and they say 7 days for a UTI.

Someday my lower regions will stop hurting in some way.

The labial inflammation has gone way down by the way. I've had it suggested by another Chet patient that I avoid jeans for a while. That's not really an option. I don't have enough skirts to cover and I do enough physical work at my job to make them at least mildly impractical.

I'm up to the #4 for dilation. That's interesting. It's still a bit painful. Not really painful, but sort of burning feeling, which I'm guessing is exactly the kind of "microtearing" that I want to be happening. I dug out the old dilators and it's just shocking to me how much I've moved up. I remember laying there my first day back in the US in absolute agony trying to use the Chettawut 0 (smaller than the smallest duratek). I really couldn't imagine that I would ever get to this point.

I haven't mentioned my belly scar I don't think. It's horrible. It's just a horrible horrible mess. Bright red and totally obvious. I am thinking I might need toget that looked at for revision at some point. I don't know if I could pass it off as something else or not.

And moving back to my face, I do have one residual thing that I don't think is going to go away. Whenever it's cold out or it's cold in, like i'm eating ice cream, the area of the former suture line in my mouth tighten up. It's just a minor thing, but it's enough to notice. And given the levels of healing, I'm not expecting it to go away soon if at all.

Vitamin E, lotion or oil, will dramatically minimise the evidence of the scar. Seriously. The have a long scar on my stomach from needing to have a giant cyst removed, and the parts I treated with vitamin E are pretty much gone. Even a few months after the surgery, they were barely visible. I don't go a day without wishing I'd treated thw whole area. Cover it with oil or lotion once or twice a day. All natural, and it works wonders. Best when the scar is still red and relatively new. It's also good for the rest of you; it helps your skin regenerate, which keeps you from wrinkling. (I think regular use of Vitamin E this is part of why I am frequently mistaken for 6 or more years younger than I am.)
