1. What is the oldest object in the room with you?

Wow, we don't have a lot of old stuff in here do we. Looking around, I think the oldest thing is a framed 1940s wartime coca-cola ad featuring a US Marine and New Zealand soldier sharing coke with a Mauri person. "Have a coke means kia ora (good luck)"

2. What is the newest?

*SNARK* a couple of vibrators. They're not actually mine. Really.

3. What is your favorite object in the room with you?

Does The Beast count? My cat is old and rather objectlike. Ok, probably not. Probably the same advertisement. It was a gift from Janna, a rather obscure one and well thought out. I have a big interest in WWII and also with WWII propoganda posters and things from America's golden age.

4. What is the most valuable object?

It's got to be the computer.

5. What is the ugliest object?

The ugliest? Geez. It's got to be me! Ok, just kidding. Even my self image isn't that bad. It's hard to say, the room is a mess right now, so the mess itself is the most unsightly thing about the room. I think I'd have to put forward our cheap computer desks though. They are pretty hideous.
