Carmen and Sketchy recognized each other INSTANTLY. I think there's a very good chance Carmen is Sketchy's mom. Carmen was preggers when I picked her out at the shelter and they spayed/aborted her. She's still got some mammary swelling, poor thing. The two of them have been inseperable since then. Mostly just a big ball of fur. They move from room to room together. They eat together and out of the same bowl (without grief). They always touch when they're laying down. Totally cute.

And Sketchy has calmed down completely! It's incredible.

We think there's at least a 50/50 that Carmen is Sketchy's mom.

Sounds sort of like my kitties, who are brother and sister from the same litter and have never been separated.

Related or not this is someone they "knew" before their world got turned upside down. They had gotten used to having each other around and they missed each other. Even when they were in the pound(?) they were in the same cage. Its to be expected they are happy to be reuinted. :)
