Dieting, PCs, and stuff

Well, I got my PC back together. With how fussy EQ2 is about drivers, it's become an art anyway.
Vista was very pretty, but like Office 2007 very confusing. I think MS is making a huge mistake. The system requirements are ludicrous. According to Dell, there's not a single PC in the building that will run it. Actually, that's semi true. I can run it without the graphic enhancements.
Today I've been making regular progress at work on the new website. Working with Joomla is fun. If it does fry my brain just a wee bit.
While BBQing this weekend, I got to take a good long look at something... my body reflected in the sliding glass doors. I didn't like what I saw, so I'm on a diet, which I have been working up to for a bit. I'm hoping for a low calory non-carb thing. Last night was grilled chicken breasts and grilled veggies. I suspect that's going to be a lot of what I'm eating in the near future. I have two weeks until guests start arriving for July 4th and I'd like to lose a size by then and certainly that's possible as I usually can shock off 10+ pounds in the first week of diet/exercise.
I'm hungry. :)

Date: 2006-06-20 06:22 pm (UTC)And I work out not as much as I used to which needs to change, but I'm steadily dropping the weight. My size 14 skirt I was so thrilled about is now a little big on me. :)

Date: 2006-06-20 07:18 pm (UTC)Problem is we all 'KNOW' that, it's the regularly putting it into practice that's a challenge :) Best of luck getting back on track.

Date: 2006-06-21 05:16 am (UTC)Is Vista that crazy? :O
I'm worried about my body. XD I've lost 30 lbs in the last two months. And I wasn't overweight. I was 175 (5'9") and I guess it was cuz I had a lot of muscle and now I'm 145 :\
I hope you can reach your goal though :D
Dun get too hungry. :(

Date: 2006-06-21 04:13 pm (UTC)Because despite endless security holes that are an inevitable flaw of the underlying foundation, rampantly excessive code and poor optimization, terrible swap, memory, and processor handling, and insistence on using proprietary technology, what we need is a 3D desktop that's nice and shiny.
