kathygnomeI just finished a wonderful three day weekend. It was supposed to be a five day weekend, but that didn't happen for a variety of reasons that made last week the Worst Week Evah where I work. Hopefully things are better and I have wonderful plans for this to be a 2 day workweek followed by another long weekend.
We got out a couple of times. We took Nora to a park and had a walkaround with her in the stroller. It's really so nice now that the weather is better. It just changes everything and she seems to really love having the wind and sun on her face. She had a good weekend overall I think. She's out growing stuff again, which is irritating. And the 12 month stuff is far narrower in the arms and legs and doesn't really fit her right. Not sure what we're going to do here about that stuff.
I finally got into a fleet Saturday morning. We were slaughtered. Not good at all. But it was fun and nice to be out. Didn't need that maelstrom anyway. (Actually I didn't, it was a leftover from before I could use T2 modules.) Other than that, I mostly played World of Tanks.
In entertainment, the new Harry Potter came out on blu ray and we watched that. I was very impressed with what they did with what is more or less a dreadful book, particularly the first half which I remember primarily as "three bratty teenagers sniping at each other in a tent." There was still more of that than I needed and trying to explicate it on film shows how batty the wand stuff is. But overall, it was enjoyable. And of course, I cried at the end.
